Javier Bardem
Javier Ángel Encinas Bardem (born 1 March 1969) is a Spanish actor. He is known for his roles in Skyfall, No Country for Old Men, Biutiful, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Before Night Falls, Jamón, jamón, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile. He has won an Golden Globe Award, an BAFTA Award, and an Academy Award.
In 2021, he played Desi Arnaz in Being the Ricardos. He also appeared in Denis Villeneuve's science fiction movies Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024), and Disney's live-action remake The Little Mermaid (2023).
In 2024, he starred as Jose Menéndez, the father of Lyle and Erik Menéndez, in Netflix's Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.[1]
Life
changeBardem was born on 1 March 1969 in Las Palmas of the Canary Islands.[2] His parents were Pilar Bardem and José Carlos Encinas Doussinague. He has been married to Penélope Cruz since 2010. They have two children.
