Javier Cárdenas (footballer)

Javier Cárdenas Martínez (8 December 1952 – 25 June 2022) was a Mexican football midfielder. He played for Mexico in the 1978 FIFA World Cup and from 1975 until 1979.[1] He also played for Deportivo Toluca. Cárdenas was born in Mexico City.
Cárdenas died on 25 June 2022 at the age of 69.[2]
