Jeff Clayton

American musician

Jeff Clayton (February 16, 1954 – December 17, 2020) was an American jazz alto saxophonist and flautist. He was born in Los Angeles. He recorded with Gladys Knight, Kenny Rogers, Michael Jackson, Patti Labelle, and Madonna. Clayton founded The Clayton Brothers in 1977, and later formed the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra with Jeff Hamilton.

Clayton died on December 17, 2020 from kidney cancer-related problems in Los Angeles at the age of 66.[1]
