Jerry Mathers
American actor (born 1948)
Gerald Patrick "Jerry" Mathers (born June 2, 1948) is an American actor and writer. He played Beaver Cleaver in the sitcom television series Leave It to Beaver. In 1998 he wrote a book called ...And Jerry Mathers as "The Beaver". Mathers was born in Sioux City, Iowa.

In 1973, Mathers went to the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy.[1] In 1981, he worked as a disc jockey at KEZY radio in Anaheim, California.
Mathers was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 1996.[2]
