Joe Walton

American football player and coach (1935-2021)

Joseph Frank "Tiger" Walton (December 15, 1935 – August 15, 2021) was an American football player and coach. He was born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.[1] He played for the Washington Redskins from 1957 until 1960 and for the New York Giants from 1961 until 1964. Walton coached the New York Jets from 1983 until 1989.

Walton died on August 15, 2021 at the age of 85.[2]
