British seaman and mutineer, last survivor of the Bounty mutineers (1767–1829)

John Adams, known as Jack Adams (4 July 1767– 5 March 1829),was the last survivor of the 'Bounty' mutineers on Pitcairn Island.he helped Fletcher Christian seize the ship's arms chest and was among the group who arrested Bligh in his cabin When the American ship "Topaz" arrived at Pitcairn in 1808, the ship's captain found Adams ruling over a peaceful community of ten Tahitian women (including his wife) and several children. His children used the surname "Adams". And he was the third ruler of of the Pitcairn Islands
