John Blake (American football)

American football player and coach (1961-2020)

John Patrick Blake (March 6, 1961 – July 23, 2020) was an American football coach and player. He was the head football coach at the University of Oklahoma from 1996 to 1998. Blake was also the defensive line coach of the Buffalo Bills. He also cocahed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, from 2007 until 2010. Blake was born in Rockford, Illinois.

Blake died on July 23, 2020 at the age of 59 from a heart attack while walking in Tulsa, Oklahoma.[1]
