John Lilipaly
Johan Jehosefat "John" Lilipaly (2 June 1943 – October 2022) was a Dutch politician. As a member of the PvdA he served for almost twelfe years at the House of Representatives in the Netherlands He was the first member of parliament from he PvdA for almost twelve years. He was the first Dutch MP of Maluku Islands descent.

Biography
changeLilipaly was born in Ihamahu, Saparua, Dutch East Indies. Initially he worked as a primary school teacher in the Netherlands in West-Souburg and Middelburg. As a footballer, he played in the Dutch amateur team in that era.[1][2]
After being a member of the member of the Political Party of Radicals he became a PvdA member in 1985. In 1986 he became an elected member in the House of Representatives. As a Member of Parliament, he mainly worked for ethnic minorities and for the improvement of water quality.[2]
John Lilipaly was the father of former television presenter Carolijn Lilipaly.
Lilypaly had Alzheimer.[3] He died in October 2022 at the age of 79.[1]
