Jon Landau
American film producer (1960–2024)
Jon Landau (July 23, 1960 – July 5, 2024) was an American movie producer. He is best known for his work with James Cameron: Titanic (1997), Solaris (2002) and Avatar (2009). He also produced Campus Man (1987), Honey, I Shrunk The Kids (1989), Dick Tracy (1990), Alita: Battle Angel (2018) and Avatar: The Way of Water (2022).
Landau was born in New York City, New York. He was the son of Edie, a producer, and Ely A. Landau, a studio executive and producer. He was Jewish.[1]
Landau died at the age of 63 on July 5, 2024 in Los Angeles, California from cancer.[2][3]
