José Ramírez Gamero

Mexican politician

José Ramírez Gamero (12 June 1938 – 7 July 2022) was a Mexican politician. He was a member of Institutional Revolutionary Party. He was Governor of Durango from 1986 to 1992.[1] From 1976 to 1979 and from 2000 to 2003, he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies. In 1976, he was the President of the Chamber of Deputies.

He was elected twice as Senator and twice represented Durango from 1982 to 1988[2] and from 1997 to 2000.[3]

Ramírez Gamero died in Durango, Mexico on 7 July 2022, aged 84.[4]
