Judith Jamison
American dancer and choreographer (1943–2024)
Judith Ann Jamison (pronounced JAM-ih-son; May 10, 1943 – November 9, 2024) was an American dancer and choreographer. She was the artistic director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater from 1989 until 2011. After that, she was its artistic director emerita.
