Julio Londoño Paredes

Julio Londoño Paredes (born 10 July 1938) is a retired Colombian Army Lieutenant Colonel, writer and politician. He was born in Bogotá, Colombia. He has worked under the administrations of six presidents from 1983 to 2010: Belisario Betancur, Virgilio Barco Vargas, César Gaviria, Ernesto Samper, Andrés Pastrana Arango and Álvaro Uribe.[1]

Londoño Paredes was the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1986 to 1990. He also was the Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States from 1990 to 1994 and to the United Nations from 1994 to 1998. Londoño Paredes also was an Ambassador to Panama from 1983 to 1986 and to Cuba from 1998 until 2010.[2]
