K. W. T. Nissanka
Sri Lankan Army officer
K. W. T. Nissanka (October 21, 1971 - November 1993 in Pooneryn) was a Sri Lankan army officer.
Nissanka was a platoon commander and had the rank of second lieutenant. He served in the Sri Lankan Army from 1990 till his death in 1993. He was killed in action during the Sri Lankan Civil War.
After his death, he was given the Parama Weera Vibhushanaya, the highest award of the Sri Lankan Army.
