Katherine MacLean
American science fiction author (1925-2019)
Katherine Anne MacLean (January 22, 1925 – September 1, 2019) was an American science fiction author. She was best known for her short fiction of the 1950s which talked about the impact of technological advances on individuals and society. In 1971, she won the Nebula Award for her novel The Missing Man. MacLean was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
MacLean died on September 1, 2019 at the age of 94.[1]
