Kim H. Veltman
Dutch/Canadian historian of science and art (1948-2020)
Kim Henry Veltman (5 September 1948 – 1 April 2020) was a Canadian historian of science and art. He is the director of the Virtual Maastricht McLuhan Institute (VMMI). He was known for his works in the fields of "linear perspective and the visual dimensions of science and art,"[1] new media, culture and society.[2] He was born in Friesland, Netherlands. His best known work is Studies on Leonardo da Vinci I, (1986). where he focused on the works and legacy of Leonardo Da Vinci.
Kim H. Veltman died of COVID-19 in the Netherlands, aged 71.[source?]
