Kim Shattuck
American singer, musician, and songwriter (1963-2019)
Kimberly Dianne Shattuck (July 17, 1963[1] – October 2, 2019) was the lead punk rock singer-songwriter and guitarist. She was known for her works with the band The Muffs. From 1985 to 1990, she was a member of The Pandoras.
In 2001, she was a singer, guitarist and songwriter for The Beards, a superpop side project composed of Shattuck, Lisa Marr, and Sherri Solinger.[2]
Shattuck was born in Los Angeles, California. She was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in 2017.[3] Shattuck died from problems relating to the disease on October 2, 2019 at the age of 56.[3]
