Kimmel Center for Performing Arts

The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts is a building for performing arts in Center City, Philadelphia. It is on the "Avenue of the Arts" street. The Kimmel Center is the main performance hall for the Philadelphia Orchestra. The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Philadanco and the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society also play there. There are also other performances like jazz and pop. The main hall is Verizon Hall with about 2,500 seats. The Perelman Theater is a smaller recital hall.[1]
