Kitaoka Shrine

Kitaoka Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Kumamoto.[1] It is a Soja shrine. This means all the kami of Higo Province are present there so the governor can conveniently worship all of them.

The shrine has a 1000 year old camphor tree on it.[1]
