History change

Kranji station was not included in the North South Line Woodlands Extension when it was proposed in 1990. It was later included as a temporary station that will be built at a later stage.[1]

Kranji station was eventually built to serve the Singapore Turf Club.[2] This station also serves as a key transfer point for passengers that are going to Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
