city in and county seat of La Crosse County, Wisconsin, United States
La Crosse is a city in the southwestern part of Wisconsin. The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is there. The 2020 census counted 52,680 people living there.
It is across from Winona, Minnesota. The city was incorporated in 1856.
