Lamabam Kamal
"Dr. Lamabam Kamal Singh" (Meitei: ꯗꯥ. ꯂꯃꯥꯕꯝ ꯀꯃꯜ ꯁꯤꯡꯍ) (b.1899, d. 1935[1]) was a writer of Meitei literature of Modern Manipur. He is one of the pioneer writers of his arena.[2][3][4] By profession, he was a doctor. He is best known for "Madhavi", the first fiction novel in Meitei language (Manipuri language).[5][6][7]
