Langtang is a Himalaya Range of Nepal, located in the north-central Nepal in at Rasuwa district. Langtang Lirung 7,205 (23,638 ft) is the tallest peak of this range and it is the 99th highest peak in the world. On October 24, 1978 a Japanese mountain climbing team of Seishi Wada and Pemba Tsering Sherpa climbed Langtang Luring for the first time.
