Laufey (singer)
Laufey Lín Bing Jónsdóttir (/ˈleɪveɪ/ LAY-vay, Icelandic: [ˈlœyːvei ˈliːn ˈjounstouhtɪr̥]; born 23 April 1999), known professionally as Laufey, is an Icelandic singer-songwriter and musician. She achieved prominence in the early 2020s for her success as a jazz-inspired pop artist.

Her debut album, Everything I Know About Love (2022), charted in Iceland and the United States. It was followed by the album Bewitched (2023), which received a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards; the single "From the Start" found international success.
Early life and education
changeLaufey Lín Bing Jónsdóttir was born on 23 April 1999. Her father is Icelandic and her mother is Chinese.[2] maternal side of her family is from Guangzhou. Her mother is a classical violinist.[3]
Laufey graduated with a presidential scholarship from the Berklee College of Music in 2021. She currently lives in Los Angeles.[3][4]
