Laurie Smith Camp

United States federal judge (1953-2020)

Laurie Smith Camp (November 28, 1953 – September 23, 2020) was an American politician and lawyer. In 2001, she was nominated as a Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska by President George W. Bush. Camp was born in Omaha, Nebraska. From 2011 to 2018, she became Chief Justice.
