Leander Vyvey

Leander Vyvey (born 21 Dec 1989) is a Belgian actor.[1][2][3] and retired professional kite surfer.[4] He had victories on the Kiteboard Pro World Tour between 2007 and 2009. In his acting career he is most widely known the role of Lukas in Sky UK's "Then You Run[5]".

Early life & Professional career change

Leander was a professional kite surfer[6] in the freestyle discipline, between 2006 and 2010.[7][8] He won the Super Grand Slam Kiteboard Pro World Cup Italy in 2008.[9][10]

After retirement from professional kitesurfing he stayed active in the kitesurfing industry until 2015. He then studied acting in Madrid, London and Chicago and made his acting debut in 2016 in the feature film Rescue Under Fire.[11]

Leander has since been active in both theatre and screen acting.
