Leith Mullings

American anthropologist (1945-2020)

Leith Patricia Mullings (April 8, 1945 – December 13, 2020)[1] was a Jamaican-born author, anthropologist and professor. She was president of the American Anthropological Association[2] from 2011 to 2013. She was a Distinguished Professor of Anthropology at the City University of New York.[3] Mullings was one of the founding members of the Black Radical Congress.[4]
