He was the guitar player for The Dave Clark Five. He joined the Clark Five in 1961. The Dave Clark Five had hit after hit, including Glad All Over, Bits And Pieces, Over and Over, and Because, among others. They were rivals to The Beatles. After the band split up in the year 1970, he opened an antique shop and organ-repair shop. He also teaches guitar in the UK county Buckinghamshire.
Davidson attended The Dave Clark Five induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008. His birthdate is unknown
