Les Hunter (basketball)

American basketball player (1942–2020)

Leslie "Big Game" Hunter (August 16, 1942 – March 27, 2020) was an American professional basketball player. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee.

Hunter played professionally in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the American Basketball Association (ABA). Hunter was a two-time ABA All-Star. He played for the Baltimore Bullets from 1964 to 1965, Minnesota Muskies/Miami Floridians from 1967 to 1969, New York Yankees from 1969 to 1970, Kentucky Colonels from 1970 to 1972, and for Memphis Sounds from 1972 to 1973.

Hunter died on March 27, 2020 of cancer at the age of 77.[1]
