Alida Diderika "Let" de Stigter-Huising (14 August 1930 – 14 December 2024) was a Dutch politician and natural park official.

Biography
changeDe Stigter-Huizing was born in Rotterdam in 1930 where she also studied economics. After being alderman in Naarden she was appointed mayor of Maarn in October 1980. She was the mayor until her retirement in September 1995. Afterwards, in 1996, she became chairman of the Area Committee of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. She was the chairman until early 2005. In 2017 the new cycle path Let de Stigter fietspad was named after her, for her dedication and works.[1][2][3]
She was married. De Stigter-Huising died in Doorn on 14 December 2024, at the age of 94 years old.[4]
