Scientists saw the frog on Gorgona Island. It is in the Pacific Ocean, southwest of the rest of Colombia. [3]

This frog has a light-colored belly and orange color where the legs meet the body. It has white spots on the parts of its back legs near the body.

Scientists say the frog looks like L. argyrogaster and L. fugax but it is more closely related to L. bilsa.[3]

The scientists who wrote the first paper about the frog say it is in some danger of dying out.[3]
