Lilian Styles
Lilian Styles (born 20 June 1905) was a British athletics competitor specialized in the 800 metres and cross country running. She represented the United Kingdom in both disciplines internationally during the late 1920s and 1930s.[1]

Career
changeStyles competed at the 1928 Great Britain–Germany–France women's athletics match where she finished second in the 800 metres behind Ivy Barber.[2][3][4] In the 800 metres she won at the WAAA Championships the silver medal at the 1928 championships and furthermore four bronze medals; in 1926, 1927, 1929 and 1930.[5]
During the 1930s she won multiple medals at International Cross Country Championships. At the 1931 championships in Douai she won individually the silver medal behind British Gladys Lunn and won the gold medal in the team event. At the 1932 Championships she won individually the bronze medal behind Lunn and French Suzanne Hedouin, and the gold medal in the team event. At the 1935 Championships she won the silver medal behind Nellie Halstead and won also the silver medal in the team competition.[6] She finished fifth at the 1938 Championships.[7]
