Ludmila Vaňková

Czech writer and historic literature writer (1927–2022)

Ludmila Vaňková (27 May 1927 – 3 February 2022) was a Czech writer. She was born in Prague. She was known for writing Lev a růže tetralogy[1] (English: The Lion and the Rose).[2] This was made up of four novels (Král železný, král zlatý, Zlá léta, Dědicové zlatého krále, Žebrák se stříbrnou holí).

Vaňková died in February 2022 in Prague, at the age of 94.[3]
