María Isabel Rodríguez
Salvadoran doctor
María Isabel Rodríguez (born November 5, 1922) is a Salvadoran physician, academic, and politician. She was born in San Salvador, El Salvador. She was a member of the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador from 1956 until 1957, one of the first assemblywomen in the country.[1] She was the Minister of Health and Social Welfare from 2009 until 2014 during the Mauricio Funes presidency.[2]
