Mark Margolis
American actor (1939–2023)
Mark Margolis (/mɑːrˈɡoʊlɪs/, mar-GOH-liss; November 26, 1939 – August 3, 2023) was an American actor. He was best known for his role as Hector Salamanca in Breaking Bad (2009–2011) and Better Call Saul (2016–2022). His role in Breaking Bad was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2012. He also played Alberto "The Shadow" in Scarface.

Margolis died at a hospital in New York City from a short-illness, on August 3, 2023, at age 83.[1]
