Martin McDonagh
British-Irish filmmaker and playwright
Martin Faranan McDonagh (/məkˈdɒnə/; born 26 March 1970)[1] is a British-Irish playwright, screenwriter, producer, and director.[2] He has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director and won four BAFTA Awards, three Laurence Olivier Awards. He was nominated for five Tony Awards. He directed the dark comedy movies In Bruges (2008), Seven Psychopaths (2012), Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017), and The Banshees of Inisherin (2022).
