Martin Lee Truex Jr. (born June 29, 1980 in Mayetta, New Jersey) is an American racecar driver. Truex drives part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 56 Toyota Camry for TRICON Garage. Truex won the 2004 and 2005 Xfinity Series championships.[1] Truex won the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series Championship in the No. 78 Furniture Row Racing Toyota.[2] Truex's brother Ryan Truex is also a race car driver, with 3 NASCAR Xfinity Series wins to his name.

Truex announced in June of 2024 during a press conference at Iowa Speedway that he would be retiring from full-time NASCAR Cup Series racing, after 20 years of Cup racing.[3] He was named one of NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers in 2023. He was eliminated from his final playoff appearance in the Round of 16 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
