Maryan Plakhetko

Soviet footballer (1945-2020)

Maryan Ivanovych Plakhetko (Ukrainian: Мар'ян Іванович Плахетко; 1 March 1945 – 22 February 2020) was a Ukrainian footballer. He played as a defender.

Plakhetko was born in Nizhankovichi. He most notably played club football for CSKA Moscow. He also played for Karpaty Lviv and SKA Lviv. Plakhetko played two games for the Soviet Union national team in 1968 and 1971.

Plakhetko died in Moscow on 22 February 2020 at the age of 74.[1]
