Masao Sugiuchi
Japanese Go player (1920-2017)
Masao Sugiuchi (杉内雅男, Sugiuchi Masao, October 20, 1920 – November 21, 2017) was a 9-dan professional Go player. He reached to 800 career wins, and he was the oldest professional player in Japan from 2004 to 2017.[1][2]
Family
changeHis wife is Kazuko Sugiuchi, a professional player who won several female titles. His sisters in law (Sachiko Honda and Teruko Kusunoki) are also professional players.
