Meine Breemhaar (11 September 1960 – 1 January 2025) was a Dutch businessman and sports official.[1]

Breemhaar was among the richest 500 people from the Netherlands according to Quote,[2] with an estimated net worth of 155 million Euro.[3]

Breemhaar was founder and owner of real estate company MAC³PARK.[4] He also bought multiple failing companies and reorganized them to make them profitable.[5] Next to that he was major landowner of Bonaire.[6][7]

His company MAC³PARK was a sponsor of NEC Breda. The stadium MAC³PARK Stadion was named after the company and Breemhaar served as the chairman of the club from 2020 until his death in 2025.[3]

He became “Here of Flevoland” in 2011.[5]

Personal life

Breemhaar was born in Assen on 11 September 1960. His parents were farmers. At the age of nine he moved to Ommen. He attended the Guide de Brèsschool there and later the GSG Guido de Brès [nl] in Amersfoort (1972-1978). Afterwards he studied economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (1978-1984). He married to Mieke. In 1992 they bought a house in Dronten.[8][1] They had three children.[3]

Breemhaar died on 1 January 2025, at the age of 64 years old.[3][4]
