Melanie Chisholm (born 12 January 1974)[1] is an English singer-songwriter and television personality. She is best known as one of the five members of the girl group Spice Girls, where she was nicknamed "Sporty Spice". As a solo artist, she has released four albums and was nominated for a BRIT and ECHO Awards[2] and charted at the top of the Billboard Dance Chart in the US in late 2000.
