Melanie Klein
British Austrian born psychoanalyst
Melanie Klein (1882–1960) was a British psychoanalyst. She was notable for her contributions to object relations theory. Klein's theories and those of the other British object relations theorists had a major impact on John Bowlby's attachment theory. She also considered one of founder of child psychology with Anna Freud.
