Milton Viorst
American journalist (1930-)
Milton Viorst (February 18, 1930 – December 9, 2022) is an American journalist. He was born New Jersey. He studied at Rutgers University. Viorst is married to author Judith Viorst.
From 1956 to 1993, Viorst often worked with The New Yorker, Foreign Affairs, Harper's Magazine, The Atlantic, The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
In 1968, he signed the "Writers and Editors War Tax Protest" pledge to refuse tax payments in protest against the Vietnam War.[1] His writing landed him on the Nixon list.
He died from complications of COVID-19 on December 9, 2022, at the age of 92.[2]
