Mohamed El Ouafa

Moroccan politician (1948–2020)

Mohamed El Ouafa (Arabic: محمد الوفا - 1948 – 27 December 2020) was a Moroccan politician. He was a member of Istiqlal Party. He was Minister of Education in Abdelilah Benkirane's cabinet from 2012 to 2013.[1] Between 2000 and 2012 he was Ambassador to India, Iran and Brazil.[2][3][4]

Ouafa died of COVID-19 on 27 December 2020 in Rabat, Morocco at the age of 72.[5]
