Monica Hanna is an Egyptologist. She is Dean at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport. She won a 2014 SAFE Beacon Award.[1][2]
Life
changeShe graduated from American University in Cairo, and from University of Pisa.[3]
She organized the Egyptian Heritage Task Force. She opposed looting of archaeological sites.[3][4] She opposed moving Sphinxes.[5][6] She organized a petition for the return of the Rosetta Stone.[7][8][9][10]
