Murder of Robert Ross

On March 6, 1894, in Troy, New York, during an election riot between pollwatchers and operatives of the local Democratic political ward boss who were repeat voting, a young poll watcher, Robert Ross, was shot and killed. His brother, William Ross, was also shot but he survived.[1]
