The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo (東京国立近代美術館, Tōkyō Kokuritsu Kindai Bijutsukan) or MOMAT[1] is one of the major art museums in Japan.[2]

MOMAT collects, houses, and preserves a collection of modern art, including both Japanese- and Western-style paintings, prints, watercolors, drawings, and sculpture, all dating from the Meiji Period through the 20th century.[3]
MOMAT is in Kitanomaru Park in Tokyo.
