National Union of Teachers

former trade union for schoolteachers in England, Wales, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man (1870–2017)

The National Union of Teachers was the largest teachers' union in the United Kingdom. It has a policy of campaigning on educational issues as well as the conditions of service of its members.

In 2017 it joined with the Association of Teachers and Lecturers to form the National Education Union.[1]
