Nigel Adkins
English association football player and manager (born 1965)
Nigel Howard Adkins (born 11 March 1965) is an English football manager and former footballer. He is currently the manager and technical director at Tranmere Rovers.

Career
changeAdkins played for Tranmere Rovers, Wigan Athletic and Bangor City.
Adkins' career as a manager started with Bangor City. From 1996 to 2006 he worked for Scunthorpe United as a physiotherapist. He worked for Scunthorpe United as a main coach for four years. In 2010, Adkins became the main coach of Southampton. In March 2013, Adkins became a main coach of Reading.
