Nirmal Purja

Nirmal Purja[1][2][3] (known as Nims or Nimsdai[4]) MBE (Nepali: निर्मल पुर्जा; born 25 July 1983[5]) is a Nepal-born naturalised British mountaineer. Prior to taking on a career in mountaineering, he served in the British Army with the Brigade of Gurkhas followed by the Special Boat Service (SBS), the special forces unit of the Royal Navy.[5][6][7][8]
