The Nishan-e-Pakistan is the highest of civil awards and decorations given by the Government of Pakistan. The honor maybe given to a citizen from a foreign country. Richard Nixon,[1] Dwight D. Eisenhower, Queen Elizabeth II and Nelson Mandela were among the foreigners. The award was created on 19 March 1957.
